Anegada is heaven

What an amazing holiday. The Young and Vaughan families to time out from our hectic lives on Tortola to escape to the gorgeous island of Anegada. Anegada is part of the BVI and is only 1 hour ferry trip from Road Town.

The kids, Nara and us grown ups had a ball. We had the beach to ourselves all weekend and spent most of our time on the beach relaxing eating drinking.. perfect. On our last night we made a fire on the beach under a clear star filled sky and watched the fireworks display in the distance over on Richard Branson's Necker Island Resort.

CRIKEY its Halloween

Last weekend we attended the annual Halloween Costume party at The Kite's home here on Tortola. Dressing as something traditional would've been too boring.
So, in true Dan style I couldn't resist the perfect opportunity to stir things up a little. And before you start sympathising with him, Chris was well up for it.
Even the girls enjoyed watching Mummy squirt the red ELC paint onto Daddy's chest. Alex helped me paint the barb black and I had the 'stingray' outfit made. Chris looked great in his ensemble which included the mask & snorkel on his head.

Managed to upset one couple ".. we though all Australians loved Steve Irwin.. we cried when he died..."

Yeah well we didn't. All in all a successful costume and a great night.

Hope this wont be too boring for you. Just as a warning to those who don't know me all that well or those who may have forgotten... I have a seriously depraved sense of humour.
